Millyard Development Plan
The Roebling Museum initiated a Millyard Development plan with the Scrap Steel to Bridge Wire concept to create a vision for providing access to and interpreting the seven-acre millyard that comprises the former southwest corner of the John A. Roebling’s Sons Company Kinkora works in Roebling.
The plan lays out the schematic design including pathways for visitors to explore the grounds, look closely at the large industrial artifacts and learn about the scrap steel and wire making process. Interpretive signage will include former Roebling company employees’ names as a lasting remembrance for their service to the company. The Museum is currently looking for funding to support this exciting project!
