At the Roebling Museum, we’re working hard each day to document, preserve and exhibit the history of the John A. Roebling’s Sons Company, the Roebling family and the village of Roebling. The Museum bridges a storied past to the present by developing unique, one-of-a kind exhibits; delivering educational STEM/STEAM programs that inspire children and youth to create, make and do; and archiving and collecting the objects and artifacts that capture the ingenuity, innovation and industrial age defiance of the Roeblings, their workforce, and the wire rope company that changed the world.
Nestled in the heart of New Jersey, Roebling Museum is bringing new life to this historic community, and honoring the thousands of workers who once walked through the Main Gate of the steel mill that occupied its grounds. At the same time, we are keeping this legacy alive and enlightening… We offer lectures, and walking tours; group tours for schools and seniors’ clubs; and host an annual STEM summer camp where children design and build structures from recycled materials, vehicles from K’Nex building blocks, and even a 30-foot suspension bridge made of wood, metal and bungee cords.
Let’s continue to bring creativity and inspiration to the next generation! Our 2019 season is in full swing, and we’re kicking off our annual campaign to raise $50,000 by the end of the year. Won’t you help us?
It’s always the right time to make your contribution to our success! We’re accepting donations of any amount, now and all year round! Every dollar, every donation, makes a difference. Click the link below to make your contribution today!
